I have worked as a lecturer and researcher at Colombia’s Rosario University (Universidad del Rosario) since 2013. I have taught courses in English and Spanish on the Journalism and Public Opinion Programe including International Journalism, Media and Power, News Production and Fashion Journalism. My research includes the history of war reporting, the importance of community radio in post-conflict scenarios and the role of the media in democracy. I have also taken part in the Observatory on Gender and Diversity and have taught local journalists at El Tiempo/CityTV courses on how to cover issues related to gender and the LGBTIQ population.

My qualifications: MA in Human Rights and Global Ethics from the University of Leicester (2018). BA in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Chester (2013).
